Your wedding is important to us.
Our consultations are free and generally last
1 to 1 ½ hours. Therefore, we require an
appointment to gather information about your desires
and to fix pricing parameters. Please
fill out the bridal consultation questionnaire prior
to our meeting so we can provide you with the best selections
and recommendations.
Call us at 703 680-2665 and we will schedule your
appointment with a designer. Monday through Thursday
will be the best days, since Friday and Saturday we
are busy working on the weekend weddings.
Locking-in
the date.
We
recommend scheduling your initial consultation six months
in advance. We will need to know the date,
location, times and colors, especially the Bridal and
Bridesmaids gowns. Please bring color swatches (if available)
for the gowns, locations, and accessories. If you have
pictures of the look you like, please bring them. The
more information you provide us – the more specific
advice we can offer you.
A
deposit of $200 or 10% of the estimated cost (whichever
is larger) will guarantee our availability on your wedding
day. The deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied
to the final total balance.
Generally
we deliver to most places in the Metro area, all of
Prince William County and Stafford County. We have gone
to Annapolis. We try hard to go to any location to please
our brides.
Designing your bouquet.
Bouquets
and floral designs have several components:
•
Quantity and variety of flowers and foliage’s
• The season in which the wedding will occur.
• Type of container/accessories used.
• Amount of expertise and time required creating
the design.
Although
purchased in a global market, flowers remain seasonal.
Choosing flowers in seasonal at the time of your wedding
is the best value. If you require flowers that are out
of season, the cost can fluctuate by 100%. Also flowers
in high demand, e.g., red at Christmas, can significantly
increase the price.
Please
think about your pictures. Five or ten years after your
wedding, we want you to always say your flowers were
perfect.
Budgeting for your flowers.
Things
that effect the price of your flowers:
Varieties- The more seasonal the flowers – the
lower the price. The more exotic, fragile or limited
the availability – the higher the price.
Quantities- More bridesmaids, corsages, church
pieces and guests will require more flowers.
Limiting varieties- Special flower varieties
and quantities come with a higher price. Selecting a
more general category usually results in lower prices.
Elaborate compositions- Require more time and
expertise to create then simpler designs.
